We began with Sevair Deco by having a simple frustration: just like millions of others, we love denim. But denim had stopped being built; instead, it had started being decorated.
Many brands have focused on selling a season, rather than making pieces that last for years.
We come from a different tradition. It is in the name itself: Sevair, from the French word savoir — mastery, know-how and the discipline of doing a thing properly. Deco is design, structure and the architecture behind the object.
Together, those two words express the philosophy of our brand: garments engineered with the same rigour as buildings. Structure first. Decoration second. Nothing added that does not serve the construction.
We make heritage workwear for people who have outgrown the churn of fast fashion but never lost their appreciation for something built to last and built with intent.

Standards
What We Don’t Do
- We do not distress denim to imitate age. Wear should be earned, not applied in a factory.
- We do not put our name across the outside of a garment in oversized letters. If a piece needs a logo to be worth wearing, the construction has failed.
- We do not claim what we cannot prove. Our boots and walkers are not waterproof. Our denim is not selvedge. We would rather tell you here than have you discover it in the rain.
- We do not design for a season. We design for the decade.
